What is HuddleX?
HuddleX is an editorial platform dedicated to advancing sports management as a structured career pathway for Indian youth. We surface the breadth of roles that exist beyond playing — across operations, scouting, analytics, marketing, governance, and more — and examine how these careers are built, supported, and perceived in India today.
Through long-form articles, conversations with practitioners, and original research, we look at how stakeholder influence, institutional gaps, and shifting cultural attitudes shape what a career in sports can look like. The goal is to make the field more legible — for students, parents, educators, and the industry itself.
About the Founder
Nirav Muthiyan
Founder
Nirav grew up around cricket, where he first saw how much of the sport happens off the field — in the planning, the people, and the structures that make competition possible.
He went on to study sports management at George Washington University, exploring how modern sports organizations are built, governed, and grown across markets.
He created HuddleX to surface those career pathways for Indian youth — to show that a life in sports doesn't have to end when playing does.
